Donate to make a Difference

Thank you for considering a donation.

Whether you are a caring, community-minded person who wants to help, or a big corporation with similar ideals, there are several ways to donate to Branches Lifestyle Support.

  • Make a one-off contribution
  • Become a regular giver

As a regular giver, your chosen donation amount is automatically gifted from your credit card on the date and regular interval you nominate – weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. This reduces our administration costs meaning a higher percentage of your support reaches those who need it most. Donations are secure and can be changed, paused or cancelled at any time.

A big thank you to Manly and Wynnum RE/MAX and Think Tank Architects, along with the members of the local community, who have supported us to get this far.

We also acknowledge A.R.A.D. (Aid and Recreation Association for the Disabled), and their very generous donation, which has us well on our way to establishing our HUB.

A.R.A.D. closed their doors in 2020 after 50 years as a unique service catering to people with a disability in the Wynnum area. Through this donation, the spirit of their work endures, and the local community continues to benefit from their years of service.

What we need to reach our goal

 Donating to Branches

Our Community Hub opened on the 6th March 2021. Not only is it used for day programs for our clients with disabilities, but we also make it available to community groups and organisations at a very minimal cost. This was always our aim – to have a much-needed general space where ourselves and other charitable and service-based groups can gather.

Since opening, we have managed to outfit the Hub with some amazing facilities. These include a large kitchen that can be used for vocational training, full audio-visual capabilities with a big screen and projector, and conversational seating areas. We have also installed a disability-friendly bathroom. In addition our Branches Lifestyle Support offices are also now based right next door.

All of this has only been made possible due to the amazing donations and generosity from many different groups and individuals.

2026 and beyond…

Imagine our clients learning to prepare food and coffees, serving in our community garden, and continuing to upskill in an environment where they feel valued, and proud of what they create. This vision is at the heart of our 2026 fundraising goal.
We’re working towards purchasing a small coffee and food van that our clients will help operate (think 3–4 people working inside). While the van won’t be used commercially, it will play a meaningful role at our internal events and within our Branches community.
This project will offer clients opportunity to develop practical skills, grow their confidence, and connect more deeply with the people around them. Most importantly, it opens the door to experiences that celebrate their independence and ability.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your generosity helps us create new and meaningful opportunities for our clients and brings dreams like this one closer to reality.
